Miss Me But Let Me Go
– Edgar A. Guest
When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set on me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
miss me—but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,
miss me—but let me go.

Dear Family members,
Welcome to the "Families Seven" website (originally, SperawFamily.com). It was started in August of 2010, when it was decided to hold a family reunion on my 90th birthday, March 26, 2011.
We began with what we knew and hopefully it will expand through this website since there are many Speraws, Wagners, Langs, Kraemers, O’Connor’s and Collins scattered to the four winds. Please note the "Family Tree" where you can expand your family and offshoots.
Under the button “Family History” you will find the story I wrote just for my family two years before the Family Reunion was planned. It contains the information I had at that time regarding our origins and ancestors includes the story of my own life. I know that our history will be expanded as others take part.
Looking back I wish I had asked my folks, grandmother and aunts and uncles more questions but having failed in that I combined the information I had at the time with my own story.
Thanks to Cousin Rick Holman who discovered me and then provided information. My sister in law Betty Ann Halicus Rauch and my niece Betty Speraw Carnes also helped.
So, enjoy learning about your young, old and ancient kin and then sharing your own life. And while my full name is Oliver Wagner Speraw I’ve been called “Ollie” since high school so don’t mess with history. I even ran for the State Senate as Ollie.
And, thanks to Michael Lucas for his friendship, professionalism and efforts to help put this site together. His company website is, "PlanBGS.com".
I’m proud to be a member of this pioneer family.
